If you deliver alcohol on the same day the order is placed, from 1 June 2022 you must verify the age of the customer.
There are three ways you can do this:
- Option 1: Age verification using the Trusted Digital Identity Framework (TDIF) – This will be mandatory from 31 May 2024.
Until 31 May 2024, you may use the TDIF or one of two temporary solutions:
- Temporary solution 1: Alternative artificial intelligence system
- Temporary solution 2: Requiring the purchaser to make a statement
