Very pleased for Noreen and the team who recently obtained their on-premises licence in Glenbrook (Blue Mountains). We received a few objections on this one, but were able to respond, allowing ILGA to issue the licence. Locals and visitors can now drop in for a coffee, some great food, and even a glass of wine!
Just metres from Shellharbour Beach, Sands Receptions offers a versatile space in an idyllic seaside setting, ideal for any special occasion or a quick bite and refreshment from the kiosk. Now with its new licence, Cameron and team will be able to offer a wide range of catering services to those living in and around the Shellharbour area.
ILGA has just approved a new General Bar licence for PC Bar in King Street, Newtown, with trading until 4am. This new licence will help boost the night-time economy in Newtown and revitalise the late-night hospitality industry as well as providing an opportunity for patrons to enjoy live music, and a venue for artists to perform in!
In October 2024, a new General Bar licence was granted for the Club House Hotel in Warren. Formerly operating as a full hotel, 'the Clubby' was another victim of the COVID pandemic. Its new owners will now be able to throw open the doors of the historic Club House, first opened in 1900. Folks from within the town, those working there and anyone just passing through will again be able to drop into the Clubby for a refreshment and a feed in a true country pub environment.
Pyramid Liquor Licensing has been working closely with Mr Liquor for a number of years. In that time, a number of new stores have been opened at Ramsgate, Parramatta, Wetherill Park and most recently, in Westfield Blacktown.
The new store, located on the busy ground floor near supermarkets and other fresh food vendors, is sure to offer convenience to shoppers as they gather their weekly shopping, buy some beers and a bottle of wine, then continue on to the carpark only metres away.
It was so pleasing to see the Empire Hotel regain its full hotel licence in November 2024. The Empire's licence was cancelled during the COVID lockdowns after trading in Young since the 1880s!
Residents and visitors to Young will now have the chance to visit the Empire once again, now a new licence has been granted complete with on-premises, take-away and gaming privileges.

With their new on-premises liquor licence, the Great Room will be able to host a range of corporate events, as well as offer the experience of transitioning from work to social at the end of a long week!
Italian Wine Cellars are recognised name in the fine Italian wine market in Sydney, with their Drummoyne store making its mark into the sector in recent years. Daniel and Claudio have now opened their newest venture, Italian Wine Cellars in Kings Lane at Darlinghurst. With their obsession with great Italian wine, masterclasses and their wine club, the new store is bound to be a hit with locals and anyone that enjoys the best of Italian wines.
Buddy's is the first, self-pour bar in Australia to be granted a liquor licence.
Their ingenious system that allows patrons to self-serve a limited number of alcoholic drinks has been a huge hit.
In the process of obtaining the licence we worked with Liquor & Gaming to develop self-pour guidelines to preserve responsible service practices using this new technology.
